Sanctuary House
Sanctuary House Counselling
Set in the tranquil surrounds of North Epping, directly bordering Lane Cove National Park, Sanctuary House is a safe place for exploring your inner healing and wellbeing.
Wellbeing is so much more than feeling happy. Wellbeing is a way of living in the midst of our circumstances and brings into the conversation such elements as finding meaning and direction in life; fulfilling our potential and believing that our lives are worthwhile; loving and being loved; enjoying meaningful relationships and feeling as though we belong.
Sadly, though, for many of us wellbeing seems a lot more akin to wishful thinking. Quite simply, the pace and demands of life are leaving far too many of us isolated, disconnected and if we are going to be really honest, struggling somewhat,
to keep it all together. And these are just the everyday challenges we face.
Often our experiences might also include;
-
relationship challenges and breakdown
-
anxiety and worry
-
depression
-
grief and loss
-
trauma and abuse
-
difficult life transitions
-
illness and major health issues
-
parenting and family challenges
Often, it’s not about becoming a new person, but becoming the person you were meant to be, and already are,
but don’t know how to be” (Heath L. Buckmaster)
